It is with deep sadness that Phil Harris would like fellow hikers and his running friends to know of the death of his beloved wife Gill. Gill left us peacefully on Wednesday 6th August 2008 at home with her family and loved ones around her.
Gill was a keen competitor on the Longmynd Hike for many years, winning the Ladies Trophy 11 times. She set the ladies record time on six occasions including the current ladies record of 10:01 in 2007, she was also a member of the winning team on six Longmynd Hikes.
